Glass bottle – pharmaceutical bottle with dosing closure represents a durable and aesthetic packaging, which is ideal for filling various liquid formulations. The high-quality design and precise dosing mechanism help ensure comfortable use, controlled dispensing and minimisation of leakage or contamination of the contents.
This packaging is suitable for both artisan and professional production, where material stability, protection of sensitive components and reliable sealing are important during normal use as well as during transport. The compact size of the bottle makes it a practical choice for products with higher value in a small volume, such as serums, concentrates or intensive active blends.
This bottle with dosing closure forms a complete functional unit ready for direct filling and use. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, the behaviour of the dosing system and the stability of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (especially for formulations with a high content of acids, alcohols or essential oils).

The dosing pharmaceutical bottle is designed primarily for low- to medium-viscosity liquids, such as classic oils, light serums and liquid concentrates. With very viscous oils or gel-like formulations, dosing may be less smooth, so we recommend always doing a trial filling and practically verifying whether the dosing speed and comfort meet your expectations.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed; however, we always recommend thorough cleaning and disinfection between individual product batches. Before refilling, the bottle and closure must be mechanically cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example using IPA or ethanol (IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol, ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based). This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the new formulation.
Before the first filling, we recommend visually checking the packaging, removing any dust or impurities and then cleaning it with a suitable washing agent. After rinsing with clean water, it is advisable to let the bottle dry thoroughly and then disinfect it with alcohol, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Disinfect the closure and the dosing part in the same way and, before filling, make sure that the internal surfaces are dry.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is advisable to put it into sorted collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part can, after removing residues of the contents and separating the closure, be placed in the container intended for glass. The dosing closure and any plastic components are sorted according to the type of plastic given in the parameters – usually into the container for plastics. Before recycling, we recommend at least roughly rinsing the bottle in order to reduce the amount of product remaining in the packaging.
