Glass bottle – blue dropper vial roll-on 5 ml is a practical packaging for precise and hygienic application of liquid formulations directly onto the skin. The blue glass helps protect the more sensitive contents from light, thereby supporting the stability of the blend and extending its usability. Thanks to the roll-on system, this little bottle is ideal for targeted, economical and clean application without the fingers coming into contact with the contents.
The packaging is suitable for filling various cosmetic products, aromatherapeutic blends and other liquid products where a controlled dose and convenient use while travelling or in everyday routines are important. The compact design of the vial makes handling easier and facilitates storage in a handbag or cosmetic bag.
Glass vials with roll-on applicator are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters in the product range – for example screw caps, roll-on systems or other special applicators. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The glass packaging is generally suitable for most oil-based and water-based cosmetic formulations, perfume and aromatherapeutic blends. Before final use, however, we always recommend carrying out your own stability and compatibility test – checking the behaviour of the formulation in the packaging over several days to weeks (colour, odour, consistency and functionality of the roll-on system).
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle and the roll-on system must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. For disinfection, we recommend using technical alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations – in the range you will find for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Disinfection before refilling helps minimise contamination and extend the shelf life of your formulations.
The roll-on ball and the internal holder should first be mechanically cleaned of product residues, for example by rinsing in warm water with a mild cleansing agent that is compatible with the raw materials used. We then recommend rinsing the individual parts with a suitable alcohol and allowing them to dry completely at room temperature. Only after they are completely dry is it appropriate to refill the packaging, in order to minimise the risk of deterioration of the new formulation.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it according to the material types listed in the product parameters. The glass part can usually be sorted into the container designated for glass after cleaning, while plastic or metal components (for example the closure or internal parts of the applicator) must be sorted according to the relevant waste category. Before placing in sorted waste, it is advisable to remove product residues and labels to the extent allowed by your local waste collection system.
