The plastic bottle with a blue body and silver cap represents a practical packaging material for cosmetics manufacturers as well as home formulators who are looking for a reliable and aesthetically appealing container. Thanks to its well‑designed shape and high‑quality plastic material, the bottle is suitable for filling liquid and gel‑based preparations, while supporting easy handling, filling and dosing of the contents. The packaging is designed to withstand normal use well and to help maintain the stability of the properly chosen fill during storage and everyday use.
The standalone plastic bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing methods according to the parameters selected in the online shop. Depending on the nature of your formulation, you can combine it with screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators to achieve precise and comfortable dosing.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dispenser behaviour and the stability of the pack in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol content or content of oily components).
If the packaging is made of PET material, it is necessary to take into account that PET is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. When exposed to heat, undesired softening or deformation may occur, therefore the packaging is not suitable for dishwasher cleaning or boiling. Gentle manual cleaning at an appropriate water temperature followed by disinfection with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation is recommended.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle can be used repeatedly provided that hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly, rinse it and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and impact on the stability of the new formulation. For packs made of PET material, avoid high temperatures, do not boil them and do not wash them in a dishwasher to prevent deformation of the packaging.
Before first use, we recommend removing any remaining dust or dirt by gently rinsing with suitable water, then allowing the packaging to drain and dry. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inside of the bottle and the internal surfaces of the closure with an alcohol‑based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. The packaging should be completely dry before filling to avoid unwanted dilution or impact on your formulation.
The bottle is designed to handle different types of liquids – from thinner aqueous solutions to slightly viscous preparations or oil blends. The key to comfortable use is a suitably chosen closure or dosing component (dropper, pump, sprayer or screw cap with an appropriate orifice diameter). For thicker creamy textures, a jar or another type of container is often more practical, whereas for oils, serums and liquid emulsions this bottle is very well usable. We recommend checking in advance the behaviour of the specific formulation in the chosen combination of packaging and dispenser.
If you decide not to use the bottle any further, we recommend first emptying it and removing remaining product as thoroughly as possible. Then it is advisable to follow the recycling symbols and material designation indicated in the product parameters for this packaging. Depending on the plastic used, sort the packaging into the appropriate container for plastics or another recommended waste stream. The closure and the body of the pack may be made of different materials, so it is ideal to separate them before sorting. This will support more efficient processing in the recycling process and reduce the amount of unnecessary waste.
To make it easier to find suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging material category. In the advanced filter it is possible to combine several parameters at once – for example type and neck diameter, packaging size, colour or material – so that you quickly narrow down the selection only to bottles, jars, medicine bottles or pots that match your idea. In this way you can find not only a suitable size but also compatible closures and dispensers for a specific formulation.
