PROBLEM SOLUTION

This problem occurs if the initial wick length is incorrect before the candle is first lit. The wick needs to be shortened to approximately 0.5 cm (sometimes less) than recommended and the burn test needs to be performed again. If the shape of the container does not allow the wick to be shortened, it is recommended that the wax be added to the candle to the required height. It is necessary to remove the burnt parts from the wick between each burning of the candle.

The wick should crackle, but it does not crackle
You have purchased a crackling wick, but it cracks weakly or not at all during burning. In this case, dyes or fragrances used may be to blame. Try making a candle from pure wax and test the cracking again.
