Frosted glass pharmaceutical bottle with black-gold spray pump and smoke-colored cap is an elegant and functional packaging suitable for various types of liquid preparations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and precise spray mechanism, it is ideal for products where gentle and even dosing without contact of the contents with the environment is important. The frosted finish and smoke tint help to limit light penetration, thereby supporting the stability of more sensitive formulations and extending their usability under proper storage conditions.
This bottle with integrated spray pump is designed as a functional unit, and packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing accuracy and the behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil phase, etc.). This ensures optimal functionality of the spray pump even during long-term use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. When designing formulations and selecting a suitable bottle, we recommend basing your choice on these data to ensure correct compatibility between the packaging, the dosing mechanism and the filled product.
Before the first filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the spray pump and then disinfecting them. The packaging needs to be washed with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsed with clean water and left to dry completely. Then we recommend disinfecting the inner space and the surface of the packaging with alcohol – for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. After the alcohol has evaporated, the bottle is ready for filling.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. With each change of contents, we recommend disassembling the bottle and the spray pump (if the design allows it), cleaning them thoroughly, rinsing and allowing them to dry. Before refilling, the packaging must always be disinfected – alcohol-based preparations are particularly suitable, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. This procedure minimizes the risk of microbial contamination of the contents.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material composition listed in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle is generally intended for sorting into glass containers, while the plastic and metal parts of the spray pump should be separated and sorted according to local rules for plastic and metal packaging. Before being placed in sorted waste, the packaging should be emptied as much as possible and rinsed free of product residues in order to facilitate the recycling process.
The spray pump is most suitable for low-viscosity liquids such as aqueous solutions, hydrolats, water-alcohol mixtures, lighter serums and fine oil-based or emulsion preparations with a thin consistency. With thicker emulsions or oils, the functionality of the spray pump may be limited. Before final use, we recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing whether the dosing is sufficiently fine and even for your specific formulation.
