The plastic bottle with a brown body and silver cap is a universal container suitable for packaging various cosmetic preparations, liquids and delicate blends where comfortable dispensing and the aesthetic appearance of the final product are important. Is it possible to reuse this plastic bottle?

The plastic container can be reused for home cosmetics and small-scale production, provided that basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle, rinse it and then disinfect it, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol – you can find them in the range as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After the container has dried, you can proceed to refill it with a suitable product.

How should I clean this bottle and what should I pay attention to with the plastic material?

We recommend cleaning the plastic container with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, or with a suitable disinfectant solution depending on the nature of the original filling. The PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, so do not boil the bottle or wash it in a dishwasher, where there is a risk of deformation of the container and deterioration of the closure’s tightness. After washing, let the container dry naturally at room temperature and only then refill it with the prepared product.

Is this plastic bottle also suitable for travelling and everyday carrying?

With a properly selected compatible closure, it provides sufficient sealing for normal use. How can I safely dispose of or recycle this plastic bottle if I do not want to use it further?
