Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely and only then refill the packaging.

For which types of products is this spray packaging most suitable?

The bottle with spray pump is most suitable for liquid preparations with low to medium viscosity that need to be dispersed in the form of a fine mist. These are mainly facial and body sprays, hydrolats, hair sprays, air fresheners or textile sprays. Thick emulsions, oil macerates with herb particles or preparations with undissolved solid particles may not be fully compatible with the spray pump and may clog it over time, so it is advisable to test a smaller amount first.

How should I properly clean the packaging before first use and between individual fillings?

Before first use and before each subsequent filling, we recommend rinsing the packaging with a suitable cleaning solution, then rinsing with drinking water (if the nature of the product allows it), and finally disinfecting the surface and the inside of the packaging with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. It is advisable to pump the disinfectant solution through the spray pump itself as well in order to clean the inner capillary. After treatment, all parts must be allowed to dry thoroughly at room temperature away from direct sunlight.

How should I safely dispose of and recycle this plastic packaging if I do not want to continue using it?
