Is this bottle suitable for repeated use?

Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly, provided you follow basic hygiene principles and check that the packaging is undamaged. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle, the dispenser and the cap. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for this purpose, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only afterwards is it appropriate to refill the packaging with the final product.

How should the bottle be properly cleaned and disinfected before a new filling?

First mechanically remove the residues of the original product by rinsing with lukewarm water and a suitable mild cleaning agent. Then let the bottle and the dispenser rinse thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain in the container. After drying, carry out disinfection of the internal surfaces and the dispensing mechanism using alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Before refilling, let the alcohol evaporate so that no undesirable dilution of the product occurs.

Is this dispensing bottle suitable for thick creams or balms?

The dispensing bottle is ideal for more liquid products such as light emulsions, fluids, toners or solutions. With very thick creams, butters or balms, dispensing through the pump may be limited or uncomfortable. If you are working with highly viscous formulations, it is recommended to first try a smaller test batch and verify whether the pump can reliably expel the product and whether it remains functional even with long-term use.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I do not want to use it repeatedly?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it in accordance with the information given in the parameter table of the specific product. According to the material stated in the parameters for this packaging, place the empty and rinsed bottle and the dispenser in the appropriate sorted waste stream (for example in plastic collection). Before placing it in sorted waste, it is advisable to remove any product residues and compress the packaging or reduce its volume, thereby saving space in collection containers and making processing in the recycling process easier.
