Glass bottle – medicine bottle with plastic cap with dropper insert represents a reliable packaging for precise dosing of liquid blends, extracts and concentrated solutions. Thanks to the combination of glass and a functional dropper insert, the packaging is suitable for products where dose control, protection of the contents and professional presentation of the finished product are important. The smooth surface of the bottle allows easy labelling and legible marking of the product, which will be appreciated by home crafters as well as small-scale manufacturers.
The combination of the glass medicine bottle and plastic cap with dropper insert is created on Handymade as a functional, practically tested set, which allows comfortable drop-by-drop dosing. Combinations of packaging and caps created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the packaging works reliably with your specific product.

Yes, the glass medicine bottle with dropper insert is also suitable for smaller and starting projects. Thanks to the dropper cap, it allows you to work with a smaller volume of formulations and test batches without unnecessary losses. At the same time, it looks professional when selling finished products in smaller series.
The packaging can be used repeatedly, provided that hygiene principles are followed. Before each filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and cap, checking that they are undamaged, and then disinfecting the packaging with a suitable alcohol-based product. For disinfection you can use, for example, the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/) or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/), while it is important to respect the nature of your formulation and let the packaging dry completely before filling.
For thicker oils and viscous solutions it is important to verify whether the dropper insert provides smooth and even dosing. We recommend carrying out a trial filling with a small amount of product and testing the dripping speed also during repeated use. If you have a very thick formulation, it may be appropriate to adjust the recipe (for example, the oil ratio) or choose another type of applicator within the Handymade packaging portfolio.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material designation in the product parameters. The glass bottle can generally be handed in clean to a glass container. The plastic cap with dropper insert needs to be separated and sorted according to the relevant type of plastic indicated in the parameter table. Before recycling, we recommend removing product residues and labels from the packaging according to local waste-sorting rules.
