Glass bottle – medicine bottle with dropper is a practical packaging solution for dispensing a precise amount of liquid content. In combination with a dropper it is suitable for packing cosmetic serums, oils, essential blends or other formulations where controlled and hygienic dosing is important. High-quality glass provides a stable environment for more sensitive recipes and reduces the risk of affecting the scent, colour or consistency of the content.
This type of medicine bottle is ideal for liquid and less viscous products that require dropwise dosing – for example intensive concentrates, active ingredients or aromatherapeutic blends. Thanks to the precise dropper, use is comfortable, safe and also suitable for small volumes where accurate dosing is particularly important.
Glass bottles – medicine bottles with dropper are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters. In practice they can be combined for example with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators, provided they have a matching neck and thread. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, comfort and accuracy of dosing, as well as the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, oil or alcohol content).

Yes, glass bottles with dropper are commonly used for packing oil serums, essential oils, aromatherapeutic blends and other concentrated preparations. Glass is a stable material that generally tolerates oils and a high proportion of active substances well. For each new formulation, however, we recommend doing a trial filling and a short-term stress test to verify the behaviour of the packaging with the specific composition of the product.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature and only then refill the packaging. Repeated use is not recommended if the glass is damaged or the dropper is worn.
When filling the bottle, always leave a small air gap below the neck so that the dropper can draw in a sufficient volume of liquid when squeezed. Avoid filling up to the very top, which can impair sealing and cause leakage when closing. It is recommended to work with a clean funnel or dosing syringe to minimise contamination of the thread and the dropper. After filling, close the bottle tightly and always test the first drops outside the target area, for example on paper or a sampling pad.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend sorting it into separated waste according to the material indicated in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle is usually disposed of in the container designated for glass; it is advisable to empty it and, if possible, rinse it out. Sort the dropper and any plastic or rubber components according to local waste management rules, if possible separately. Always follow the symbols and recommendations in the parameter table on the product page on Handymade and the local recycling rules in your municipality or city.
