The plastic bottle with spray pump represents a practical packaging for liquid products that require a fine mist or more targeted spraying. Thanks to the combination of a transparent body and a functional spray mechanism, it is suitable for professional as well as home use when filling cosmetic preparations, cleaning solutions or auxiliary solutions for cosmetics manufacturing. The material design ensures good stability, low weight and comfortable handling, which you will appreciate in the workshop, salon and during hobby creation.
The packaging is designed to allow convenient dosing of liquids in the form of spraying, thereby reducing product consumption and increasing the precision of application on skin, hair, surfaces or textiles. Thanks to the transparent body, you also have visual control over the amount of contents, which makes it easier to plan refilling and logistics for both smaller and larger production batches.
This packaging is supplied as a complete combination of bottle and spray pump, ready for immediate filling and use without the need to purchase a separate closure. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products with a higher content of alcohols, essential oils or active substances.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are observed, especially for your own production of cosmetics or auxiliary solutions. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and rinsing the bottle and the spray pump and then disinfecting them with a suitable preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the packaging has completely dried is it appropriate to proceed with new filling in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and influence on formulation stability.
After emptying the packaging, first rinse any product residues thoroughly with lukewarm water and, if necessary, using a mild detergent that is suitable for contact with plastic materials. We then recommend carrying out disinfection – ideally by pouring or spraying a solution based on alcohol, for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. It is advisable to flush the spray pump with clean water and disinfectant solution by pressing the pump several times so that the disinfectant passes through the entire mechanism. After cleaning and disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely at room temperature away from a direct heat source and only then refill them.
Plastic packaging, especially if made from PET-type material or similar thermoplastics, is not intended for use at high temperatures. Prolonged exposure to heat or direct hot steam can lead to deformation of the packaging, deterioration of the sealing of the spray pump and changes in the mechanical properties of the material. Therefore we do not recommend boiling the packaging, sterilizing it in boiling water or washing it in a dishwasher. For normal hygiene and preparation for repeated use, gentle washing in lukewarm water with a mild cleaning agent followed by disinfection with an alcohol-based preparation according to the recommendations above is more suitable.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend responsibly recycling it according to the type of material stated in the parameter table at the product on the website. First, rinse any product residues thoroughly and let the packaging dry. Then disassemble the bottle and spray pump into as many parts as possible (body, spray head, possibly the tube) and sort them into the appropriate container according to local waste sorting rules. All information on the material composition can be found in the product parameters so that you can place the packaging into the correct recycling stream and thus reduce environmental burden.
The easiest way is to use the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category (for example bottles, jars or pumps). In the advanced filter you can specifically select according to several parameters – namely neck type, size, colour and material. Thanks to this, you can quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that will be technically compatible with your closures or dispensers and at the same time corresponds to the required visual style and volume. When choosing, we also recommend following the related products on the packaging detail page, where you can find closures and spray pumps that have been tested and are functional with the respective type of packaging.
