Clear tall plastic bottle with clear cap, 100 ml

A tall transparent plastic bottle with a capacity of 100 ml and a screw cap is a ready-to-use complete set for liquid and semi-liquid cosmetic products. The bottle is made of PET, a lightweight plastic resistant to breakage. It is therefore suitable for the bathroom, travel, and postal shipping, where glass would be an unnecessary risk. Which products is the bottle suitable for

The contents are poured directly through the neck, so the bottle is intended primarily for products that flow freely:

• Water-based products – facial toners, hydrolats, micellar waters, and mouthwashes that are poured onto a cotton pad or into the palm.
• Cleansing preparations – shower gels, shampoos, liquid soaps, and bath foams in smaller or travel-size packaging.
• Oils and light emulsions – body, massage, and bath oils, cleansing oils, and liquid body milks.
• Samples and trial batches – the volume is sufficient for testing a new formula as well as for gift or travel packaging.

Thick creams, butters, and balms are difficult to remove through a narrow neck; a jar is more practical for those.

Closure and dispensing

The cap is made of polypropylene and has a ribbed circumference that allows a firm grip even with wet hands. Inside there is a foam sealing insert that, when tightened, seats against the rim of the neck and reduces leakage during transport.

The screw cap does not dose; the amount is estimated during pouring. Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume is the quantity for which the bottle is designed under normal filling conditions. The total volume to the brim is the physical volume up to the neck and is slightly larger. The difference serves as a reserve for the closure and for expansion of the contents when temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim.

What is worth knowing before filling

Before first use, both the bottle and cap are washed with lukewarm water and detergent, rinsed thoroughly, and disinfected with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. They are then left to dry completely so that no water remains inside, which could compromise the product's preservation.

Common cosmetic products with a standard content of fragrance ingredients are tolerated by PET; however, undiluted essential oils and solvents belong in glass. The set is intended for cosmetics and is not approved for contact with food.
