Coenzyme Q10 (vitamin Q or ubiquinone) is an important antioxidant for humans, naturally contained in most cells.

Its role lies in energy production and in protecting cells against damage and subsequent aging. It supports blood circulation, stimulates the immune system, increases tissue oxygenation and has vital anti-aging effects.

Studies have shown that coenzyme Q10 acts effectively against skin damage caused by free radicals and provides significant protection against UVA-induced depletion of the cell membrane. This function helps prevent damage to the process of collagen and elastin formation and helps prevent wrinkles. After the 20th to 30th year of life it begins to naturally decrease, and after the age of forty we have only about half of it.

Coenzyme Q10 is not used only for skin rejuvenation. Its marked deficiency can cause reduced performance and work activity, greater fatigue and lower regeneration capacity.
In skin care it has an irreplaceable place due to its ability to support skin elasticity, give it freshness and a youthful appearance. It can be added to creams, lotions, gels, masks, toners etc.

It is fat-soluble.

We recommend adding it at the end of the formula, during the cooling phase, when the emulsion is below 50°C.

Dosage: 0,3-3%
