CycloRetin is a natural cyclic peptide titrated in an extract of the root of Pseudostellaria heterophylla (the so-called "prince ginseng"), designed as a gentle alternative to retinol with high stability and efficacy already at low doses. It activates key targets of the retinoid pathway and promotes collagen and elastin synthesis, improving skin firmness and contour without the usual irritation associated with retinol. The water-soluble form facilitates use in both aqueous-phase serums and creams as well as for daily formulations.

Use in formulation

• Solubility: water soluble; compatible with alcohol and glycols (up to 100%).
• Recommended dosage: 0.3-2.5% (clinical protocols: 0.3% and 1%).
• Processing phase: add to the aqueous phase, ideally after cooling and after dispersion of other soluble actives.
• Max. processing temperature: add below 50 °C; protect from direct light. Tolerated pH ~3-8.
