Plastic bottle with closure represents a practical and lightweight packaging material suitable for the safe packaging of various liquid and semi-liquid preparations. Thanks to the selected material and construction, the bottle is stable, resistant to normal handling and ideal for everyday use in cosmetic as well as craft formulations. The plastic packaging is designed to protect the contents against undesirable contamination while at the same time facilitating dosing according to the type of closure selected.
This practical bottle is particularly suitable for liquid products, emulsions, serums or solutions that require clean, closed packaging and comfortable application. The smooth surface of the packaging allows easy application of labels and the creation of a professional final product for personal use, small-scale production and smaller brands. The PET material used in the manufacture of the bottle is lightweight, easily recyclable and, when used correctly, provides a reliable solution for a wide range of formulations.
The individual plastic bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the selected product parameters. It can be combined with screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators, which make it possible to adapt the final packaging to the specific type of formulation and method of use.
The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure of safe and comfortable use in practice.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Since this is packaging made of PET material, it is not suitable to expose the bottle to high temperatures or direct heat. In the case of excessive heating, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of its functionality. For this reason the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher and not suitable for boiling. Gentle cleaning at appropriate temperatures and the use of suitable disinfectants intended for cosmetic packaging are recommended.
Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if it is cared for correctly and hygienic principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is important to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and deterioration of the new fill. For disinfection we recommend using suitable alcohol solutions, for example technical isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for cleaning packaging. After applying the disinfectant, allow the inside of the packaging to dry thoroughly at room temperature and only then proceed to filling the product.
Before reusing the bottle, we recommend first mechanically removing any residues of the previous fill and rinsing the inside and outside of the packaging with suitably warm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for cosmetic packaging. After rinsing, the bottle needs to be disinfected with an alcohol solution, for example with products available on Handymade such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or ethanol 96 % denaturovany rastlinny. You can find these products in the raw materials category at /ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ and /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry thoroughly at room temperature, without using high temperatures or dryers.
PET material is more sensitive to high temperatures, so it is not recommended to expose the bottle to direct sunlight, radiant heat or long-term exposure to higher temperatures. With excessively hot water or drying near heat sources, the packaging may deform, its mechanical stability may decrease and its tightness may deteriorate. Therefore do not wash the bottle in a dishwasher and do not boil it. For cleaning, use lukewarm water, a mild cleaning agent and subsequent disinfection with alcohol. Such a procedure helps preserve the shape, functionality and aesthetic appearance of the packaging.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend placing it in separated collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. Since it is PET plastic, in most cases it belongs in the container intended for plastic packaging. Before disposal, it is advisable to empty the bottle and, if necessary, rinse out any product residues, close it or separate the closure according to local waste sorting rules. Recycling symbols and recommendations can be found in the parameter table of the specific product on the Handymade website. By following these principles, you contribute to more efficient sorting and recycling of plastic packaging.
On the Handymade website, you can use the advanced filter to choose suitable packaging. It is located at the top of the page after you click on the relevant category of packaging material. In the advanced filter it is possible to combine several criteria – for example the type and size of the neck, overall size of the packaging, colour and material used. Thanks to this, you can quickly narrow down the selection to only those bottles, dropper bottles, jars or pots that correspond to the required parameters of your formulation and method of application. If anything is unclear, we recommend checking the product description and the packaging quality certificate, where you will find additional technical information.
The plastic PET bottle is designed to handle standard cosmetic formulations based on water, alcohol or oils, as long as they do not contain components that are aggressive towards PET material. Before implementing it in production, we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test, in which you verify the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (changes in colour, softening, leakage of contents, influence on fragrance, etc.). At the same time, it is important to select a suitable type of closure or dispensing system that will correspond to the viscosity and method of application of the product.
