The plastic bottle with matte closure is a lightweight, durable and practical packaging suitable for professional and home filling of liquid and semi-liquid preparations. Thanks to reliable sealing, the contents are protected against leakage and common contamination during storage and transport. The smooth surface of the bottle is easy to clean and enables convenient labelling and branding for cosmetic brands, manufacturers of drugstore products and smaller artisanal producers.
The standalone bottle is compatible with multiple types of closures and dispensing systems. Depending on the selected parameters, it can be combined with various solutions such as screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators designed for more precise dosing of liquids.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) in order to verify that the solution is suitable for your particular product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly provided that you consistently follow hygiene principles and always carry out thorough cleaning between individual fillings. Before each new filling we recommend rinsing the bottle, mechanically cleaning off residues of the previous contents and then disinfecting it using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Only after thorough drying is the bottle ready for safe reuse.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend first emptying it of any remaining product and rinsing it where possible. Then sort the bottle and the closure according to the material indicated in the parameter table on the product page on Handymade – usually this means placing them in the appropriate container for sorted waste according to the type of plastic. In the case of a combination of several materials, it is advisable to separate them before disposal (for example separate the bottle and the cap) in order to facilitate recycling in the collection system.
The plastic packaging is not intended for disinfection at very high temperatures, for example by boiling or pouring boiling water over it. When exposed to excessive heat, the walls or the closure may deform, which negatively affects the sealing as well as the overall appearance of the packaging. For disinfection we therefore recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation applied by rinsing or spraying the inner and outer surfaces, and after application the bottle must be allowed to dry completely.
The bottle is intended mainly for liquid and semi-liquid preparations. For more viscous gels or emulsions we recommend choosing a combination with a suitable type of closure or dispensing system that will make it easier to squeeze out or pour the product. Before final implementation in serial production it is advisable to carry out a trial filling and test the dosing to ensure that the consistency of your product is fully compatible with this type of packaging.
The simplest way to choose is to use the advanced filter in the packaging categories on Handymade. You will find the advanced filter at the top of the page after clicking on a specific category, where you can clearly set the required packaging parameters. You can select according to neck type, size, colour and material, which enables you to quickly find bottles, pharma bottles, jars or other containers that will best match your formulation and the desired product design.
