Glass bottle – medicine bottle with a matte white surface and black dropper is a professional packaging intended for precise dosing of liquid preparations in a small volume. The combination of high‑quality glass and an accurate dropper enables convenient and hygienic packaging of serums, concentrates and other liquids where precise drop‑by‑drop application is important. Thanks to the reliable sealing of the dropper, the contents are protected against excessive contact with air and unwanted contamination during use.
The visually elegant medicine bottle supports the premium perception of the product and is suitable for both artisanal and professional production. The matte surface of the bottle provides a pleasant touch and reduces the visibility of fingerprints, which you will appreciate during manual filling as well as when selling to end customers. The packaging is designed to function reliably during long‑term storage and everyday handling.
This product forms a complete combination of bottle and dropper, which is ready for direct use without the need for additional components. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially for products with atypical pH, high alcohol content or a very viscous composition.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass medicine bottle is generally suitable for most oil‑based and water‑based formulations, including preparations containing alcohol, when common cosmetic concentrations are used. However, for specific or highly concentrated active substances we recommend carrying out your own stability and compatibility test – fill a small amount of the product, observe the behaviour of the packaging and the dropper over time and verify whether any changes in scent, colour or viscosity occur.
Before the first filling we recommend visually checking the glass bottle and the dropper, removing any dust and then cleaning and disinfecting them thoroughly. For disinfection you can use isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in cosmetic grade – on Handymade you will find for example the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alkohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ target="_blank") or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/ target="_blank"). After treatment with alcohol, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely at room temperature and only then proceed to filling.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed, especially in home or artisanal production. Before each new filling it is important to clean the bottle and the dropper thoroughly, rinse them and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol – for example using the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alkohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ target="_blank") or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/ target="_blank"). Make sure that all residues of the original product are removed and that the packaging is completely dry after disinfection. In commercial production we recommend following your internal hygiene standards and the legislative requirements applicable to your production.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend emptying it as much as possible and wiping off any thick product residues with a paper towel. The glass part of the bottle can usually be sorted into the container designated for glass, while the dropper and the closure with a rubber or plastic part must be sorted according to the material specified in the product parameters for the given bottle on the Handymade website. Always follow local waste sorting regulations and the material information in the parameter table – this will help you place each part of the packaging in the correct collection containers and minimize the impact on the environment.
The simplest way to choose is to use the advanced filter in the relevant packaging category. After clicking on a category (for example bottles, medicine bottles or jars) you will find at the top of the page an option to filter products according to several parameters. Using the filter you can select a specific neck finish, the desired size, colour and material of the packaging. In this way you will quickly narrow the offer down to packaging that is suitable for your product type and desired design, and you can more easily compare different solutions according to your preferences.
