The glass bottle with a glossy surface and a matte black dropper represents a professional solution for precise dosing of liquid preparations. Thanks to the high-quality glass, it is suitable for packaging cosmetic blends, serums, oils and other liquid formulations where protection of the composition and comfortable use are important. The darker glass naturally contributes to better protection of more sensitive components from light, which supports the stability and shelf life of the contents.
The packaging is ideal for projects where a combination of aesthetic appearance, functional dropper and reliable sealing is required. It allows precise drop-by-drop dosing, which helps to save active substances and reduces the risk of contamination during handling.
This glass bottle is designed as a stand-alone packaging and is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected at purchase. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass bottle is also suitable for cosmetic products and blends containing essential oils, provided they are correctly formulated and intended for the given type of use. Glass is generally a stable and inert material that withstands most commonly used aromatic and plant oils well. However, for any new formulation we always recommend testing the behaviour of the product in the packaging over time to verify long-term stability and appearance.
The bottle can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before each filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging, checking its integrity and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry at room temperature and only then fill it with the selected product.
We recommend storing filled bottles well closed, in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. Such conditions help maintain the quality of the formulation, minimize oxidation and support a longer shelf life of the product. For products that are more sensitive to temperature and light, it is advisable to also follow the recommendations of the manufacturers of raw materials and finished preparations.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend prioritising its inclusion in the recycling system according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass container can generally be sorted into the container designated for glass, while the dropper and its individual parts should preferably be disassembled and sorted according to the materials used, if local recycling rules allow this. Residues of contents must be removed from the packaging so that the recycling stream is not contaminated.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the extended filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the extended filter you can combine several criteria at once – for example the type and size of the neck, the size of the packaging, the colour variant and the material. Thanks to this, you can quickly choose bottles, jars, pots or other containers that best correspond to your formulation and visual concept.
The dropper is primarily intended for low- to medium-viscosity liquids such as common facial and body oils, serums or oil blends. With very thick oils or formulations, the flow may be slower, so for a new product we recommend practically testing the dosing and, if necessary, considering another form of application, such as a pump or another type of closure compatible with the given bottle neck.
