The plastic jar is a practical and versatile container suitable for the safe packaging of a wide range of products in the fields of cosmetics, body care and DIY formulations. Thanks to its robust construction and high-quality plastic material, this jar is ideal for packaging both thicker and loose products that require reliable protection against dust and contamination. The smooth surface of the jar allows easy labelling with a sticker or print, which facilitates the professional presentation of finished products as well as test samples.
This jar is supplied as a ready-made set of container and lid, so there is no need to purchase separate closures or dispensing components. The combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the construction of the jar is adapted for the safe packaging of rich creams, butters, ointments, gels and also loose blends such as scrubs, clays or powdered cosmetic ingredients. The rigid walls and well-fitting lid help to minimise spilling or drying out of the contents when the product is stored correctly.
The jar can be reused provided that basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the safe usability of your products.
After emptying the container, first remove the residues of the original product mechanically, then wash the jar in lukewarm water with a suitable cleaning agent and rinse thoroughly. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface and the lid with an alcohol-based product, for example using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% plant-based ethanol. Allow the disinfectant solution to act briefly and then let the packaging air-dry.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend sorting it into separated waste according to the material type specified in the product parameters. Before handing it over for recycling, remove any product residues and, if applicable, labels, and dispose of the packaging in the appropriate container intended for that type of plastic. Recycling rules may differ locally, so follow the recommendations of your waste collection system. In this way, you support the reprocessing of the material and reduce the volume of mixed waste.
The simplest way to choose is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material category. After clicking on the relevant category, a filtering panel appears at the top of the page, where you can narrow down the offer by neck type, size, colour and material. This allows you to quickly find bottles, jars, medicine bottles or other containers that will match the desired design as well as the technical requirements of your formulation.
