The glass bottle with dropper is a professional packaging solution suitable for the careful dosing of various liquid formulations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and precise dropper, it is ideal for filling products where controlled and hygienic withdrawal of the contents is important. The dark, glossy finish also helps protect more sensitive formulations from external influences during storage and use.
The bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected in the offer. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verify sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation so that the final product is safe and stable.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass bottle with dropper is generally suitable for most oil-based and hydroalcoholic formulations used in cosmetics. However, each formula may behave differently, so we recommend carrying out a trial filling, a longer-term stress test and monitoring any changes in the colour, scent or viscosity of the contents, as well as the sealing and functionality of the dropper.
The packaging can be reused provided that proper hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and ventilated do we recommend refilling the bottle, in order to minimise contamination and maintain the quality of the final product.
We recommend storing filled bottles upright, tightly closed, in a dry place protected from direct sunlight and temperature fluctuations. The dark glass helps protect the contents from light, but for long-term product stability an appropriate temperature range and minimising frequent opening are also important. In home production and small-scale artisanal manufacturing it is practical to label the bottles with the filling date and the batch of the formulation.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. In most cases, the glass container itself can be placed in the glass recycling bin once product residues and non-glass parts have been removed. The dropper usually contains a combination of plastic, rubber and possibly metal, so it must be sorted according to local waste collection rules, or disposed of in mixed waste if no other option is available. Before recycling, we recommend emptying the packaging and wiping off coarse product residues so that sorting is more efficient.
To select a suitable bottle, pill bottle or jar, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging categories. You will find it at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category, where you can set the parameters in detail according to your needs. It is possible to filter by neck type, size, colour and packaging material, which makes it easier to find compatible closures and dispensers and at the same time saves time when planning your production.
