Aluminium bottle with white cap is a universal packaging suitable for filling various liquid and slightly viscous formulations. The light, stable and durable material helps to practically protect the contents from external influences, while being ideal for both home and professional use in cosmetics and craft production. The aluminium bottle is popular for its modern design, excellent packaging function and easy handling during filling, storage and dispensing.
Aluminium bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected directly in the product detail. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. There you will find detailed information about the material, conformity with the intended use and recommendations for proper handling of this type of bottle.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the selected category, the filter is located at the top of the page and enables sorting according to several criteria – specifically by neck type, size, colour and material. Thanks to this you can quickly choose a bottle, pharma bottle or jar that will best match the character of your product and the method of dispensing.
Yes, the aluminium packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable product, for example with IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or with ethanol 96 % denatured of plant origin. Only after the disinfectant has completely dried and aired out is the packaging ready for reuse with a new formulation.
After emptying, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution according to the type of previous filling (for example with warm water and a mild detergent for cosmetic preparations intended for external use). Afterwards it is appropriate to rinse the packaging once more with clean water, let it drain and dry it completely. Before the next filling always carry out disinfection – ideally using a suitable alcohol and allowing sufficient time for drying, so that no residues of cleaning or disinfecting agent remain in the bottle.
When filling, it is important that the packaging is clean, dry and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. Take into account the character of your formulation – for very acidic or alkaline blends it is necessary to verify compatibility with the material of the bottle and the selected inner surface. Store the bottle in a dry and protected place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. We also recommend checking the closure seal and carrying out a leak test by turning the bottle upside down and shaking it gently.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. Before placing it in sorted waste, it is appropriate to empty the bottle and, if necessary, rinse it to remove coarse residues of the contents. Afterwards you can place it in the appropriate collection container according to the local waste sorting rules. By following the recommended recycling symbol from the parameter table you contribute to more environmentally considerate handling of the material and to reducing the amount of municipal waste.
Aluminium bottles are often used also for smaller trial batches and samples, as they offer practical packaging and good protection of the contents. For new formulations we always recommend performing a trial compatibility test – fill a smaller volume of product, monitor the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the formulation, the seal of the closure, any changes in odour or colour and stability during storage. Based on these results you can confirm whether the given bottle is suitable also for long-term use with the specific type of product.
