The aluminium bottle with pump is a professional packaging suitable for dispensing various liquid preparations where clean, controlled and comfortable use is important. Thanks to the reliable dosing pump, it is ideal for filling products that are applied in smaller amounts and require hygienic handling.
The packaging is designed to provide good protection of the contents against external influences and at the same time to facilitate the final use of the product by end customers. The combination of a durable aluminium body and a practical dispenser makes this bottle a universal choice for home crafting as well as for small-scale artisan production.
This bottle is supplied directly with a functional dosing pump designed for comfortable and hygienic use. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be reused with proper handling and adherence to hygienic principles. Before each new filling, the bottle and the pump must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example using suitable alcoholic solutions such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after they have evaporated and completely dried is the packaging ready for refilling.
The pump is most suitable for liquid to lightly viscous preparations such as body and facial emulsions, liquid soaps, hair milks, light gels or fluids. For very thick, highly viscous formulations, dosing may be limited and it is recommended to carry out a trial test before filling in order to verify flow-through and application comfort.
First, it is appropriate to mechanically rinse the packaging with warm water and a mild detergent to remove residues of the previous product. Then we recommend rinsing the bottle and the internal parts of the pump with a suitable alcoholic solution, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After thorough dripping off and complete drying (evaporation of the alcohol), the packaging is ready for new filling. When changing the type of product, it is always appropriate to carry out a trial filling with a smaller amount.
When selecting packaging, you can use the advanced filter located in the upper part of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. In the advanced filter you can clearly filter by neck type, size, colour and material, which allows you to quickly find bottles, jars or other packaging that suit your formulation and design. We recommend combining several filters at the same time so that the selection is as accurate as possible.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The aluminium body of the bottle usually belongs in the container designated for metal packaging, and it is appropriate to remove product residues and at least roughly rinse the packaging. The plastic pump is sorted according to local conditions – in case of doubt, it can be placed in mixed waste. We recommend adapting the exact method of recycling to the information given in the product parameters and to local waste management regulations.
Aluminium packaging is often used for more sensitive cosmetic formulations as it protects the contents well from light and is mechanically resistant. However, compatibility always depends on the specific composition of the product. For formulations with a higher proportion of acidic or alkaline components, or when using specific active substances, we recommend performing your own stability and compatibility test with the packaging on a smaller trial batch before filling the entire production.
