The plastic bottle with spray pump represents a practical and reliable packaging for various liquid preparations where gentle and even application by spraying is important. Thanks to the high‑quality plastic body and functional spray mechanism, it is suitable for filling cosmetic, hygienic and cleaning preparations intended for everyday use. The brown version of the bottle helps to partially reduce light penetration, which can contribute to better stability of more sensitive formulations.
This packaging is designed to provide practical dosing in the form of a fine mist, thereby ensuring comfortable application to the skin, hair, surfaces or textiles. The bottle is suitable for liquid products with low to medium viscosity and, thanks to the well‑engineered spray pump, allows more precise and economical use of the contents.
This bottle is supplied in combination with a spray pump, with the neck parameters and dosing type taken into account so that the packaging is functional as a whole. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for formulas with a higher content of alcohol, essential oils or active substances.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if you follow basic hygiene principles and fill it with the same or a similar type of product. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the packaging, ideally using alcohol such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Disinfection helps to minimise microbiological risks and prolongs the stability of the stored product.
After emptying the contents, first rinse the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with a gentle detergent and then rinse it thoroughly with clean water. Then apply disinfection – it is very practical to rinse and spray alcohol through the inside of the system using products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Allow the bottle and the spray pump to dry completely at room temperature and only then refill them, in order to avoid dilution or disruption of the new formula.
When using plastic packaging, it is important to avoid long‑term exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures, which can accelerate material ageing or affect the stored product. Storage in a dry, cooler and well‑ventilated environment is recommended. For formulations with a high content of essential oils, alcohols or other solvents, we recommend performing your own compatibility test – fill a smaller amount of the product and monitor the behaviour of the packaging material and the functionality of the spray pump over time.
If you decide not to use the bottle any further, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material type stated in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. Before placing it into sorted waste, empty the packaging as much as possible and, if necessary, roughly rinse it so that no excessive amount of product residue remains. Then place it in the appropriate container according to the recommendations for the given material. If your local waste‑sorting system does not allow recycling of specific components (for example the spray mechanism), follow the instructions of your municipality or waste collection service and dispose of the remaining parts in mixed waste.
To select a suitable bottle, jar or other type of packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can clearly narrow down the range according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material. In this way, you will quickly find packaging that matches your product type, design and technical requirements for closure and dosing.
