Can this bottle with spray pump be reused?

Yes, the packaging can be reused with appropriate handling, but we recommend following strict hygiene rules. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and ventilated off is the packaging ready for refilling.

For which types of products is this spray pump most suitable?

The spray pump is suitable for low‑viscosity to moderately fluid preparations that need to be applied in the form of a fine mist or spray. It is ideally suited for facial and floral waters, toners, hair lotions, body and room sprays, disinfectant solutions and various aromatic or cleaning blends. With thicker emulsions or gels, spraying may be limited, so we recommend first carrying out a trial test on a small sample of the product.

How should I correctly clean and maintain the bottle with spray pump?

Before cleaning, it is advisable to completely empty the bottle and disassemble it – separate the body of the packaging and the spray pump. You can rinse the inside of the container with a suitable cleaning solution and clean water, then leave it to dry upside down. The spray pump itself should be flushed by drawing clean water or cleaning solution through the dip tube and spraying several times. After mechanical cleaning, we recommend disinfection with alcohol (for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based). After disinfection, let all parts dry completely so that no residues of alcohol or water remain in the packaging that could affect the stability of the new filling.

How can I dispose of or recycle this packaging in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer wish to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it appropriately according to the material identification given in the product parameters. Before handing it over for separate collection, it is advisable to empty the bottle and, if necessary, rinse out any remaining filling. Sort the body of the packaging into the container designated for the respective type of plastic in line with local waste management rules. The spray pump may contain a combination of several plastic parts, so it is advisable to follow the recommendations stated with the product and the recommendations of your recycling centre or local authority. In this way you support a more environmentally considerate approach.
