The plastic bottle with spray mechanism is a practical packaging designed for hygienic and even dispensing of various liquid preparations in the form of a fine mist. Can this bottle be used repeatedly?

The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray mechanism must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally with alcohol-based preparations such as isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 %) or plant-based ethanol (Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and preserves the quality of the filled product.

For which types of preparations is this spray packaging most suitable?

The bottle with spray mechanism is ideal for liquid preparations that are to be applied in the form of a fine mist or spray. It is most often used for body and face waters, room fresheners, hair sprays, hydrolats, cleansing solutions and working solutions for hand-made creation. Thick gels, highly viscous emulsions or blends with a significant content of solid particles may reduce the smoothness of spraying.

How should I correctly clean and maintain the sprayer so that it does not clog?

After the contents have been used up, we recommend rinsing the bottle and the sprayer with warm water and a mild detergent, and then pumping clean water through the mechanism several times to remove any remaining product in the dip tube and nozzle. Before reuse, it is advisable to disinfect the packaging with alcohol and allow it to dry thoroughly. Avoid using very thick preparations or blends with large solid particles that could clog the nozzle.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this packaging once it has reached the end of its life?

If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic stated in the product parameters. Before placing it in sorted waste, empty the bottle, rinse out any remaining product and remove as much contamination as possible. Then place it in the appropriate collection container for plastics according to local waste sorting rules. In this way you support efficient material recycling and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
