The plastic packaging is not intended for filling with hot or freshly cooked mixtures. We recommend filling only after the product has cooled to room temperature in order to maintain shape stability and the functionality of the cap with reducer. Higher temperatures can worsen sealing and negatively affect the long-term stability of the packed product.

Can I use this bottle repeatedly?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if strict hygiene rules are followed and an appropriate cleaning method is used. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcoholic solution, for example using the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % plant denatured, which you can find in the Handymade.sk range. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely at room temperature and only then refill it.

How should I properly clean the bottle before the next use?

First remove the residues of the original contents by rinsing with a suitable medium (for example warm water with detergent for water-based formulations). Then rinse the packaging repeatedly with clean water to remove all residues of the cleaning agent. After washing, it is necessary to carry out disinfection using an alcoholic solution, for example IPA 99 or ethanol 96 % plant denatured, and let the packaging dry freely with the neck down. Only after it is completely dry is the bottle ready for further use.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this plastic packaging if I do not want to use it repeatedly?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information given in the product parameters. Before handing it over for sorted waste, it is advisable to remove product residues, rinse the bottle and, if possible, separate the individual parts (for example the bottle body and the cap). Then place the packaging into the appropriate container according to the material type stated for the product on Handymade.sk, in order to support its proper recycling.
