Plastic bottle with matte cap represents a practical and durable packaging for various liquid and semi-liquid products, suitable for home and semi-professional use. Thanks to the high-quality plastic material, the bottle is lightweight, unbreakable and easy to handle during filling, storage and dispensing. The darker design of the packaging helps to limit the impact of light on the contents, which is particularly advantageous for light-sensitive products.
The packaging is ideal for formulations that require reliable protection from external influences and a stable closure. Thanks to the precise manufacturing of the cap, the risk of leakage of the contents during normal use and transport is minimized. The bottle is suitable for small and medium batches of cosmetics, artisanal products and other blends mixed at home or in small-scale production.
The bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles and correct cleaning are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the shelf life of your finished products.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category, you will find the advanced filter at the top of the page, where you can filter the packaging according to parameters such as neck, size, colour and material. This makes it easy to choose a bottle, dropper bottle, jar or other container that best corresponds to your product and the intended method of dispensing.
Before first use, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle and cap, rinsing them with suitable water or a medium according to the nature of the product being prepared, and then disinfecting them. For disinfection, you can use for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. After disinfection, all parts must be allowed to dry completely, and only then should the packaging be filled. The same procedure is advisable to follow when reusing the packaging.
The lightweight and unbreakable plastic bottle is practical for travelling as well, since it significantly reduces the risk of breakage compared to glass packaging. During transport, however, we recommend checking that the cap is firmly tightened and storing the packaging in an upright position, possibly in a resealable bag or case. If you plan to transport active or sensitive formulations, it is recommended to carry out a leak test and check the behaviour of the product over time before the trip.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information specified in the product parameters. Before placing it in sorted collection, it is advisable to empty the bottle and remove any product residues. Then assign the packaging to the appropriate waste type according to the material designation in the parameter table at the product on the Handymade website. In this way you support an environmentally friendly approach and proper handling of packaging materials.
