Matte black flip-top plastic dishwashing liquid bottle is a practical packaging designed for hygienic and well-organized filling of various liquid preparations for the household and workshop. Is this plastic bottle suitable for repeated use?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed and the material is suitable for the specific type of preparation. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. Only after the inner surface is completely dry is the packaging ready for further safe use.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the bottle before refilling it?

First, rinse the bottle with clean water, optionally using a mild cleaning agent suitable for plastic packaging. Then we recommend rinsing the inner walls and the neck with a disinfectant alcohol, for example the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let the packaging drain and dry completely at room temperature so that no water or alcohol residues remain in it that could affect the properties of the new contents.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I do not want to use it repeatedly?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend first emptying it completely and, if possible, rinsing it so that no residues of the original preparation remain. Then follow the recycling rules according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters (material and recycling symbol). Responsibly place the bottle and closure in sorted waste according to the local collection system so that the material can be recovered as material or used for energy in accordance with the legislation currently in force.
