This type of packaging is designed primarily for liquid, low-viscosity preparations that can be sprayed evenly. Thick emulsions, gels or heavier oils may reduce the spray quality or clog the nozzle. For non-standard or thicker formulations, we always recommend making a trial filling in a smaller quantity and testing the functionality of the spray pump under real-use conditions.

The packaging can be reused provided that strict hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray mechanism must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using suitable disinfectants such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný, which you can find in the Handymade range. Disinfection helps to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and increases safety when reusing the packaging.

Before refilling, we recommend first rinsing the packaging mechanically with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with a mild detergent, then rinsing it several times with clean water and allowing it to dry thoroughly. Afterwards, the packaging and the spray pump must be disinfected – for example by rinsing and spraying with high-proof alcohol, while it is advisable to pump part of the disinfectant solution through the spray mechanism itself. In the range you will find, for example, the product IPA 99 isopropyl alkohol 1 l and Etanol 96 denaturovaný rastlinný 1 l. After disinfection, let all parts dry completely at room temperature before refilling.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend emptying it as much as possible and removing any remaining contents before disposal. The method of recycling is governed by the material marking given in the product parameters and on the packaging itself (recycling symbol or plastic abbreviation). According to this marking, place the bottle in the appropriate fraction of sorted waste within the local collection system. The spray pump may consist of several types of plastics and spring components, so it is advisable to follow the recommendations of your local recycling centre or municipal services. By sorting correctly you support efficient material recycling and reduce the volume of mixed waste.
