FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is it possible to use this plastic bottle repeatedly?

Yes, the container can be used repeatedly if handled appropriately, but we recommend following strict hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle needs to be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using alcohol-based disinfectants such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after thorough drying is the container ready for new filling.

Can I clean the plastic bottle with hot water or in a dishwasher?

Plastic packaging made of PET-type material or similar plastics should not be exposed to high temperatures. When using hot water, boiling or washing in a dishwasher, there is a risk of deformation of the container and deterioration of its sealing properties. We recommend washing the bottle with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, rinsing thoroughly and subsequently disinfecting with an alcohol-based product. Avoid long-term contact with temperatures close to the softening point of the plastic.

How should I correctly choose a closure or dispenser for this bottle?

When selecting a closure, we recommend using the technical parameters of the container and the matching neck type indicated on the product pages as a guide. How can I recycle this bottle if I no longer want to use it repeatedly?

Plastic bottles are usually placed in sorted plastic waste collection, and it is advisable to empty them before disposal and, if necessary, rinse off any product residues. The closure may be made from a different material than the bottle body, so it is ideal to sort the individual parts separately if the local collection system allows it. Follow the local recommendations for waste sorting in your municipality or city.
