Since this is packaging made of PET, it is important to follow the recommended conditions of use: PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, at which there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. The packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning, we recommend gentle hand washing at an appropriate temperature, followed if necessary by disinfection with a suitable agent according to the type of product being filled.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be reused under normal use, provided you follow basic hygiene rules and the bottle is not mechanically damaged. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. With PET material, avoid high temperatures, boiling and dishwasher cleaning to prevent deformation of the packaging.

How should I properly clean the bottle before reuse?

First rinse the bottle to remove any product residue and wash it with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for hand washing. Then rinse it several times thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residue remains in the packaging. After drying the interior and the cap, we recommend disinfecting the packaging with a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. Do not expose the packaging to high temperatures afterwards, in order to avoid damaging the PET material.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle the PET bottle if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, that you place it in sorted waste according to local rules for plastic collection. PET material is usually placed in containers intended for plastic, marked with the appropriate recycling symbol. Before disposal, remove any product residue and, if required by the local collection system, separate components that belong to another type of waste. By recycling, you help reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of the material.

Can I use the bottle with hot or freshly boiled solutions?

For PET packaging, it is not suitable to fill it with hot or freshly boiled solutions, because exposure to high temperatures may lead to deformation of the bottle and deterioration of its properties. It is recommended to fill only completely cooled or at most slightly lukewarm preparations. Sterilisation by boiling or washing in a dishwasher is likewise not recommended, as the temperatures and mechanical load are too high for PET material.
