Glass vial with a matte surface and glossy dispenser represents a professional packaging for liquid cosmetic and special preparations that require precise and hygienic dispensing. High-quality glass in combination with the dispensing mechanism helps maintain the stability of the formulation, protects the contents from the influence of air and minimizes contamination during use. The dark glass also helps reduce light penetration to the contents, which is practical for products with light-sensitive active ingredients.
The glass bottle is intended primarily for use with the dispenser with which it is offered, but it is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the offer. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The dark glass of the vial helps reduce light penetration to the contents, which is practical for products containing light-sensitive components. For formulations that are sensitive to oxidation or light, however, we always recommend verifying the stability of the specific product under real storage and use conditions and, as needed, combining the packaging with suitable storage (for example away from direct sunlight).
The packaging can be reused provided basic hygiene principles are observed. Before refilling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle, rinsing it thoroughly and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, vegetable. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely so that no residual moisture remains before filling with a new formulation.
The dispenser can be reused as long as it is functional and not mechanically damaged. When reusing, it is important to pay attention to thorough cleaning and disinfection of the contact parts that come into contact with the product. Proceed gently to avoid damaging the seals or the internal mechanism of the dispenser, and always verify flawless functionality after reassembling it onto the bottle.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information listed in the product parameters. The glass part of the vial can generally be sorted into the appropriate glass container, while the plastic dispenser needs to be separated from the bottle and sorted according to the plastic type specified in the parameter table. Before recycling, it is advisable to empty the packaging and remove as much product residue as possible.

The bottle with dispenser is ideal for liquid and lighter gel or emulsion products that can be conveniently pushed out through the dispensing mechanism. For significantly thicker balms or very thin, watery preparations, we always recommend performing a dispensing test to verify that the selected combination of packaging and formula ensures comfortable and precise use.
