Glass bottle – matte pharmaceutical bottle with nasal spray represents a professional packaging material suitable for precise dosing of liquid formulations directly into the nasal cavity. High-quality glass combined with a specialized nasal sprayer ensures even application, hygienic handling and reliable protection of the contents during use and storage.
This type of pharmaceutical bottle is intended primarily for liquid preparations where fine atomization, controlled dosing and minimization of losses during application are important. The glass container is chemically stable, does not react with most common formulations and helps preserve the consistency, fragrance and quality of the contents throughout the entire period of use.
This glass bottle is supplied in combination with a specialized nasal spray, which is designed for precise spraying into the nasal cavity and comfortable use. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if correct hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, however, the bottle and the nasal applicator must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to minimize the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol ALK001 or ethanol ALK002. For nasal preparations we recommend paying attention to an especially high level of hygiene and, in case of doubt, choosing a new packaging instead.
Before the first filling we recommend mechanically rinsing the glass pharmaceutical bottle, then washing it with a suitable cleaning agent and rinsing it thoroughly. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the nasal applicator with an alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol ALK001 or ethanol ALK002. After the alcohol has evaporated and the packaging has dried, it can be filled with the selected formulation.
The most suitable are low-viscosity liquid formulations that can be finely sprayed – for example moisturizing nasal sprays, solutions with plant-based components, saline solutions intended for cosmetic use or aromatic blends intended for application in the nasal area. For thicker or more oily recipes it is necessary to verify whether the sprayer provides sufficiently fine and even dosing and, if necessary, to adjust the composition of the product.
We recommend storing the glass pharmaceutical bottle with nasal spray in a dry, clean environment, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Always close the bottle properly by attaching the nasal applicator and protective cap, in order to reduce contact of the contents with air and to prevent accidental pressing of the pump. For more sensitive formulations storage at a stable, rather lower room temperature and away from humid environments such as the bathroom is recommended.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend first emptying it and, if possible, removing any product residues. The glass bottle can usually be placed in sorted glass collection, while the plastic sprayer and small plastic or metal parts should be sorted according to local waste collection rules. Specific recommendations for recycling can be found in the parameter table for this product on the Handymade.sk website, and it is always necessary to respect the waste-sorting system in your municipality or city.
The simplest way to choose a suitable packaging is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the selected category, an option to filter by several parameters – for example by neck type, size, colour or material – will appear at the top of the page. With these filters you can quickly narrow down the selection to bottles, pharmaceutical bottles, jars or pots that meet your technical and design requirements.
