Glass bottle – matte pharmaceutical bottle with white safety cap represents a professional packaging solution intended for the safe packing of liquid and drop-dispensed preparations. The matte glass helps protect the contents from external influences and, together with the sealing safety cap, ensures reliable closure, making the packaging suitable for sensitive formulations, cosmetic solutions, serums, tinctures and other concentrated solutions.
This type of pharmaceutical bottle is popular for smaller volumes, where control of dosing and the professional appearance of the finished product are important. High-quality glass is chemically stable, does not react with the contents and, with proper use and storage, contributes to longer-term stability of the composition.
This glass bottle – pharmaceutical bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters in the packaging category. In practice, it can be used with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators, provided they have a matching neck and sealing elements.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle – matte pharmaceutical bottle with safety cap is designed to reliably protect liquid and drop-dispensed cosmetic products, including serums, boosters and concentrated solutions. The stability of the glass helps to maintain the quality of the composition, but when selecting a specific formula it is always necessary to test compatibility (especially with a higher content of acids, alcohol or essential oils) and to monitor the behaviour of the product during storage.
The packaging can be used repeatedly, provided that hygiene rules are strictly observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly mechanically cleaned, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable agent. For disinfection, we recommend using for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of technical purity, which you can find in our range as the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After complete drying, the bottle is ready for another filling. When changing the type of product (e.g. from oil-based to water-based), we recommend an even more thorough cleanliness check.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material stated in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can typically be placed in a glass container according to local collection rules. The plastic safety cap is usually sorted into a plastics container, or according to the material marking in the parameter table. Before placing it in sorted waste, we recommend emptying the packaging, removing product residues and giving it a basic rinse to facilitate subsequent processing in the recycling process.
To select a suitable bottle, jar or other packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which is available at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can easily narrow down the offer according to parameters such as type and diameter of the neck, size/volume, colour of the packaging and material used. This allows you to quickly find packaging that is compatible with your closures and suitable for the specific formulation (for example drop cosmetics, emulsions or oils).
The glass pharmaceutical bottle with safety cap is practical when you need a smaller, dosable amount of product, for example when travelling, for trial packaging or for client samples. The safety feature on the cap helps to limit undesired opening, but it is important to verify sealing with the specific formulation and, during transport, to place the packaging in a vertical position and ideally store it in a protective case or cosmetic bag so that the glass is protected from impacts.
Before the first filling, we recommend visually checking the bottle and the cap (to ensure they are not damaged or contaminated), then cleaning and disinfecting them. It is appropriate to rinse them with a suitable cleaning agent, rinse thoroughly with water, allow them to dry completely, and then spray or rinse the interior and the contact surfaces of the cap with disinfectant alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. After the alcohol has evaporated, you can fill the product and close the bottle immediately in order to minimise contact with air and contaminants.
