Glass bottle – matt dropper bottle with white ribbed safety cap represents a professional packaging solution suitable for the safe filling of liquid cosmetic preparations as well as sensitive blends. The matt glass helps protect the contents from environmental influences and, together with the safety closure, ensures reliable sealing and controlled dispensing. This type of dropper bottle is ideal for formulations where stability, precise withdrawal and a representative appearance of the product are important.
The glass dropper bottle in this version is supplied with a white ribbed safety cap, which ensures reliable sealing and protects the contents from unintended opening. The bottles are also compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators), depending on the selected parameters and the accessories available in the range. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle and the cap and then disinfecting them. In practice, rinsing with a suitable cleaning agent, thorough rinsing with drinking water, or distilled water if needed, and subsequent disinfection using alcohol has proven effective. For disinfection you can use, for example, isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. After treatment, allow the packaging to air-dry in a clean environment to minimize the risk of contamination.
The glass dropper bottle is suitable for repeated use if proper hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly, check the integrity of the glass and the cap and then disinfect it. For disinfection, we recommend using alcohol-based products, for example IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 %. Such a procedure helps maintain the quality of the contents and reduces the risk of microbial contamination when reusing the packaging.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting regulations and the information provided in the product parameter table. The glass bottle is usually placed in the container designated for glass, and it is advisable to remove any product residues and labels, if the collection system allows this. The plastic safety cap is usually sorted separately according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters. By sorting correctly, you support effective material recycling and reduce the amount of waste.
Glass is generally a very stable and inert material, which is also suitable for formulations containing essential oils, aromatic components and alcohol. The matt surface finish does not have a negative effect on the resistance of the glass. When combining with concentrated components, we always recommend performing an internal compatibility test – verifying the behaviour of the packaging under the intended storage conditions, the intended shelf life and in contact with the specific formulation, including cap sealing and any dosing.
