Is this glass medicine bottle also suitable for highly concentrated or aromatic products?

The glass bottle is also suitable for concentrated and aromatic formulations, because glass is a stable and inert material that generally does not react with the contents and does not take on their scent. However, with very active or atypical components we recommend preparing a trial fill and letting it stand for several days to verify the long-term compatibility of the contents with the packaging and the chosen type of closure.

Can I reuse this bottle repeatedly for different products?

The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable changes in scent or consistency during further use.

How should I properly clean this glass medicine bottle before refilling it?

Before reuse, we recommend first rinsing the packaging with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and detergent, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inside of the bottle and any closure with an alcohol-based preparation (e.g. isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 %). Only after the alcohol has fully evaporated is the packaging ready for new filling.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle the glass bottle if I do not want to reuse it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the local waste-sorting rules stated with the material designation in the product parameters. The glass bottle can usually be placed, after emptying and rinsing, in the appropriate glass container, while the closure (if made of plastic) belongs in the container intended for plastic packaging. Before placing it in sorted waste, remove any product residues and possible impurities so that the material can be recycled effectively.
