Blue glass bottle with black and gold dropper is an elegant and functional packaging suitable especially for precise dosing of liquid and oil-based formulations. Thanks to the combination of high-quality glass and an accurate dropper, it provides reliable closure, minimizes the contact of the contents with air and allows controlled drop-by-drop dispensing for both home-made and professional recipes.
The blue glass helps protect sensitive components from undesirable light, which you will appreciate for products prone to oxidation or reduced stability. A dropper bottle designed in this way is suitable for everyday use, easy dosing and an aesthetic presentation of the finished product.
This bottle is supplied as a set with a dropper, and the combination of packaging and closure is configured on Handymade to be functional and practical to use. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, so that you can be certain of the optimal performance of your product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle with dropper is suitable for most oil-based and water-based cosmetic formulations, such as serums, oil elixirs or toners with a higher concentration of active ingredients. Before final filling, we recommend testing a sample of the product in the packaging to verify stability, dosing and any sedimentation or colour change.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, which you can find in the Handymade range – IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. We recommend repeated use only if the packaging is visually undamaged and the dropper still seals and doses correctly.
First mechanically remove any residues of the original product, then rinse the bottle thoroughly with a suitable cleaning agent and clean water. After drying, disinfect the packaging with an alcohol solution, for example with isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For the dropper, we recommend gentle rinsing and checking the condition of the rubber part – if it is damaged, hardened or cracked, replace the dropper.
If you decide not to use the packaging repeatedly, we recommend, after thorough emptying and possible rinsing, assigning it to sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle should usually be placed in the container designated for glass, and the remaining parts of the closure or dropper (for example plastic, rubber or metal) should be separated according to local recycling rules. Always follow the recommendations of your waste collection company and the information in the parameter table for the product on Handymade so that recycling is as effective as possible.
On Handymade, when choosing the ideal packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. In the filter, you can clearly select parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material, which allows you to quickly find the bottle, jar or pot that best matches the nature of your product and the desired method of dosing.
The glass packaging with dropper is very practical also for concentrated aromatherapeutic blends, as it allows precise dosing drop by drop. For formulations with a higher proportion of essential oils, however, we always recommend carrying out a trial test to verify the long-term compatibility of the blend with the dropper material and the behaviour of the product during storage.
