The glass bottle represents a professional packaging solution suitable for precise and safe filling of cosmetic as well as technical liquids. High-quality glass helps protect sensitive formulations from external influences and, in combination with a suitable closure, allows accurate dosing. The darker tint of the glass also contributes to reducing light penetration, which is advantageous for products with increased sensitivity to light-induced degradation.
Thanks to its durable material and high-quality workmanship, this bottle is ideal for smaller amounts of serums, oils, essential blends or other concentrated preparations, where protection of the composition, stability and professional presentation are important. The smooth glass surface is well suited for labelling with stickers and makes it easier to maintain hygiene during filling and use.
Individual glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators), depending on the parameters selected at purchase. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verify sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially for products containing acids, a high proportion of alcohol or essential oils.

The bottle can be reused if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each refilling, we recommend cleaning the packaging thoroughly, rinsing it and then disinfecting it in an appropriate way, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for this purpose. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the packaging has completely dried is it suitable to proceed with filling a new formulation.
The glass bottle is particularly suitable for concentrated cosmetic preparations that require precise dosing and improved protection against light – for example facial serums, oil elixirs, essential oil blends, hair treatments or special care oils. In smaller volumes it is also practical for test and travel packaging, where the combination of material stability and professional appearance is important.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle, removing any manufacturing residues and then disinfecting it according to the nature of the planned product. In practice, rinsing with a suitable alcohol and leaving the packaging until the residues of the disinfectant have completely evaporated has proven effective. For this step you can use, for example, IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Before filling, make sure that the inside of the bottle is dry and free from any smell of alcohol.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend placing it in sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part can usually be placed in the appropriate glass container once any product residues have been removed. The closure, which may be made of a different material than the bottle, must be sorted separately according to local rules (for example with plastics or metals). Always follow local waste sorting guidelines to ensure recycling is as effective as possible.
