The glass bottle with dropper represents a professional solution for packaging sensitive liquid formulations where precise dosing and protection of active ingredients are important. In combination with a dropper closure, it enables controlled and hygienic application of products drop by drop, which is ideal for concentrated serums, oils and active blends. The dark glass also helps reduce light penetration to the contents and thus contributes to better stability and longer shelf life of sensitive components.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and dropper mechanically, rinsing them and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. After complete drying, the packaging can be filled again with a new product.
The bottle is ideal for products that require precise dosing drop by drop – for example facial serums with active ingredients, oil elixirs, intensive treatment cures, aromatherapeutic oils for external use and various concentrates where controlled and hygienic application of a small amount of product is important.
We recommend storing the products in the bottle at a stable room temperature, protected from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Although the dark glass helps limit light penetration, for the long-term stability of sensitive substances it is appropriate to keep the packaging in a cupboard or drawer and always ensure thorough closing of the dropper after use in order to minimise contact with air.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in the appropriate glass container after emptying and basic cleaning. The closure with dropper must be separated from the bottle and disposed of according to the combination of materials used (plastic, rubber or possibly metal) in accordance with local waste-sorting rules.
