Yes, the glass bottle can be safely reused if the correct hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable product, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection we recommend the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. After cleaning and drying, the bottle is ready to be refilled with a new formulation.

First we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning medium according to the type of the original filling (for example a neutral cleaning agent diluted in water, or oil in the case of heavy oily residues). Then the packaging needs to be rinsed thoroughly with clean water and left to dry. After drying, disinfection is required – for this step you can use IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. We recommend disassembling the dropper, rinsing it and disinfecting it in the same way, to ensure hygienic dosing during further use.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend sorting it into separated waste according to the material stated in the product parameters. The glass container can usually, after removal of product residues and separation of the closure, be placed in the container designated for glass. It is advisable to separate the dropper and the individual plastic or rubber parts and sort them according to local rules for the collection of plastics and composite materials.
