Transparent milky glass bottle with black cap is a universal packaging component suitable for filling various liquid and lightly viscous preparations. Hygienic, chemically resistant glass helps protect formulations, maintains their stability and is ideal for smaller batches, samples or final packaging. In combination with a quality closure, it offers a safe and reliable solution for home as well as professional use.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle, check the integrity of the thread and the cap and then disinfect it. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based solution, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. A packaging prepared in this way is suitable for further safe use.
When choosing a suitable bottle or other packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging material category. The advanced filter is located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category and allows you to sort products according to several parameters – for example by neck type and size, total volume or packaging size, colour and material. Thanks to this, you can quickly filter out the packaging that will best match your specific formulation and the desired dispensing method.
Before reuse, we recommend first cleaning the bottle mechanically – rinsing it with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent to remove residues of the original content. Then thoroughly rinse the packaging with clean water and let it dry. Only after that is it appropriate to carry out disinfection, for example by rinsing or spraying with IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After the alcohol has evaporated, the glass packaging is ready for new filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, sorting it into separated waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in a container intended for glass, while the cap (for example plastic or metal) is sorted according to the material type in line with local waste collection rules. Before handing over for recycling, it is advisable to remove product residues and labels so that the packaging is as well prepared as possible for further processing.
The glass bottle is suitable for most common liquid and slightly viscous preparations, including oil serums, lighter oils and thin emulsions. For thicker formulations or gel textures, however, we recommend also adapting the type of cap or applicator (for example using a dropper or pump, if it is compatible with the given neck). Before the final filling of a larger quantity of product, it is always advisable to test the dispensing on a small trial batch.
Yes, it is possible, but between individual uses it is necessary to ensure thorough cleaning and disinfection of the packaging so that there is no mixing of fragrances, residues of active ingredients or microbial contamination. After removing the original content, we recommend using warm water with a suitable cleaning agent, then washing the bottle, rinsing it with clean water and disinfecting it with an alcohol solution (for example IPA- or ethanol-based products available on Handymade). A packaging prepared in this way can be safely used for another type of formulation.
