The glass jar with glossy surface and cream dispenser is a professional cosmetic packaging intended for precise and hygienic dispensing of thicker emulsions, creams and serums. High‑quality glass in combination with the dispensing mechanism helps protect the contents from external contamination and reduces the product’s contact with air during use, which contributes to longer formulation stability. The opaque design ensures that more sensitive formulas are not unnecessarily exposed to light during storage or everyday use.
Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before first use, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the jar, the dispenser and all contact parts, rinsing them and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol‑based product. For disinfection you can use IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. After applying the disinfectant, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature and only then fill the jar with the final formulation.
The jar can be reused provided that hygiene principles are observed. After emptying, we recommend disassembling the entire packaging, including the dispenser, as far as possible, cleaning it mechanically, rinsing thoroughly and then disinfecting with alcohol‑based products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Before refilling, it is important that all parts are completely dry and clean, which minimises the risk of microbial contamination of the new formulation.
The integrated dispenser is designed mainly for creamy and emulsion‑based products of medium to higher viscosity, such as face creams, thicker‑consistency serums, treatment hand creams or targeted preparations. For very thin formulations, dispensing may be too intensive, while for extremely thick balms it may be more difficult; therefore we always recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing dispensing comfort with the specific formula.
We recommend storing filled jars in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. Although the opaque glass helps protect the contents from light, long‑term exposure to high temperatures can affect the stability and consistency of the cosmetic product. For formulas with more sensitive active ingredients, follow the storage recommendations for the given raw material and, if necessary, choose a cooler environment.
If you decide not to use the jar further, we recommend first emptying it and removing any product residue in accordance with local rules for the disposal of cosmetic products. The glass part of the packaging should then be placed in the appropriate separate collection for glass. The plastic components of the dispenser must be separated and sorted into recycling according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters or handed over at a collection point. By following local recycling rules, you support responsible handling of packaging materials.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after opening the chosen category of packaging material. In the advanced filter you can clearly select parameters such as neck type and size, overall size of the packaging, colour and material. This allows you to quickly find jars, bottles, pots or containers that meet the technical and aesthetic requirements of your specific product.
