Glass bottle with dropper represents a professional type of packaging suitable for precise dosing of various liquid preparations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and practical dropper, it is ideal for filling formulations where control over the amount of product applied and protection of its stability during storage and use are important.
This type of packaging is often used for cosmetic as well as other laboratory and artisanal products where hygienic application without contact of the contents with the skin or air is required. Glass is also a material that minimizes interaction with the contents, helping to preserve the properties of your preparations.
This bottle is supplied with a dropper, and within the same packaging series, different types of closures and dosing systems are compatible (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators), depending on the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the bottle with dropper is suitable for both beginners and advanced makers. It allows precise dosing of smaller volumes of active ingredients, oils or serums, giving you better control over consumption and testing of your own formulations. Glass is a stable material commonly used in artisanal and professional cosmetics, so this packaging is also suitable for small series of finished products.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % available in the raw materials category (IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol, ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and transfer of fragrance or residues of the previous product into the new preparation.
First, we recommend mechanically rinsing the packaging with warm water and a suitable cleansing agent to remove residues of oils or emulsions. Then thoroughly rinse the bottle and the individual parts of the dropper with clean water, allow them to dry and disinfect them with an alcohol solution (e.g. IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 %) before filling. After applying the alcohol, allow the packaging to air out completely and dry. Such a procedure is important when reusing, especially for products applied to the face or around the eyes.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material composition listed in the product parameters. After cleaning, place the glass part of the bottle in the separated glass collection according to local regulations. The closure and dropper consist of several components (plastic, rubber, possibly other materials); we recommend disassembling them into individual parts and following the material information in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. In case of doubt, it is advisable to consult specific recycling recommendations with your local collection yard or waste management company.
To make packaging selection easier, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can adjust the display according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. In this way, you will quickly find bottles, medicine bottles, jars or pumps that meet the requirements of your specific product and the planned dosing method.
