Glass bottle with dropper is a professional packaging suitable for precise dosing of liquid formulations such as serums, oils or concentrated solutions. Thanks to the combination of high-quality glass and a dropper with a built-in applicator, it enables comfortable, hygienic and controlled dispensing of the contents drop by drop. The dark, opaque glass also helps protect more sensitive formulations from undesirable effects of light, thereby contributing to the stability and quality of the stored product.
This bottle is supplied as a complete package with dropper, ready for direct filling and use. Combinations of packaging and caps created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before the first filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and drying the packaging, while avoiding aggressive cleaning agents that could leave residues on the surface. Afterwards, it is necessary to disinfect the inner space of the bottle and all parts of the dropper with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete evaporation of the alcohol and drying of the packaging is the bottle ready for safe filling with your formulation.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are followed, especially for your own homemade cosmetics production or when refilling the same type of product. Before every new filling, however, it is essential to thoroughly wash the bottle and the dropper, check the condition of the sealing and then disinfect them with alcohol, for example with IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and deterioration of the new filling.
To preserve formulation stability, we recommend storing the bottle in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. The dark glass helps reduce the effect of light, but for light-sensitive formulations it is advisable to add protection by storing it in a closed cabinet or drawer. After each use, it is important to tighten the dropper thoroughly to reduce the contact of the contents with air and to limit the evaporation of volatile components.
If you decide not to continue using the packaging, it is advisable first to empty it and remove any remaining contents according to the nature of the formulation used. The glass bottle itself is usually recycled in a container intended for glass, while the dropper may consist of several materials (plastic, rubber, metal elements), and it is advisable to follow the recommendations given in the product parameter table on the page. Always adapt the recycling rules to the specific local requirements and the guidelines from the packaging parameters so that disposal is as environmentally friendly as possible.
