Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before each refilling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting both the bottle and the spray pump in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection you can use, for example, isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and ventilated off is the packaging ready for further safe use.

First, rinse the glass part of the bottle mechanically with warm water and an appropriate cleaning agent and rinse it thoroughly. Afterwards, we recommend rinsing the inside of the packaging with a disinfectant solution based on alcohol, for example IPA 99% or 96% ethanol of plant origin. It is advisable to actuate the spray pump several times with the disinfectant solution so that the inner tube and mechanism are flushed through. After disinfection, let all parts dry freely at room temperature and only then refill the bottle.

We recommend storing the bottle in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and away from sources of heat. Dark glass already in itself reduces light penetration; nevertheless, it is advisable to avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures or extreme temperature fluctuations. Always close the packaging securely with the original spray pump or a compatible closure in order to reduce the risk of evaporation of volatile components and contamination of the contents.

If you decide not to continue reusing the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition indicated in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can generally, after emptying and basic rinsing, be placed in the appropriate glass recycling container. The plastic spray pump must be separated, freed from product residues and disposed of in the appropriate sorted waste stream according to the type of plastic specified in the parameter table. In the case of mixed materials or if you are unsure, follow the recommendations of your local waste‑sorting system.
