The glass bottle with white ribbed safety cap is a practical and elegant packaging suitable for filling various liquid and slightly viscous preparations. Thanks to the sturdy glass and the safety cap with lock, it is ideal for precise and hygienic packaging of products where protection of the contents, easy handling and a professional appearance of the packaging are important.
The glass bottles are compatible with various types of caps and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the product detail. Combinations of packaging and caps that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).

Yes, the glass bottle is suitable for a wide range of homemade and professional cosmetic preparations such as serums, facial and body emulsions, toners or hair lotions. We recommend always verifying the compatibility of the specific formulation with the packaging using a test batch and checking the stability of the product during long-term storage.
The bottle can be reused provided that basic hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly mechanically cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example using products such as IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % plant denatured (you can find them in the Handymade.sk range). After applying the alcohol, allow the inside of the bottle to dry completely to remove any residual moisture before filling with a new product.
First, we recommend mechanically cleaning the packaging (for example with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent), rinsing thoroughly and removing all residues of the original product. It is then appropriate to rinse or spray the inner surface with a disinfectant alcohol such as IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % plant denatured, which are available on Handymade.sk. After disinfection, it is important to allow the bottle to dry completely at room temperature so that no residual moisture or odours remain in it before further use.
To select a suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a particular packaging category. In the advanced filter you can conveniently choose parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material and thus display only those bottles, jars or medicine bottles that meet your requirements. In this way, you will quickly find the optimal packaging for your formula and the desired product design.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, it is recommended to recycle it according to the recommended method specified in the product parameters on Handymade.sk. In general, glass packaging, after being emptied and roughly cleaned, is sorted into the appropriate glass container, while the plastic cap belongs in the separated waste stream designated for the given plastic type. Before handing over for recycling, it is advisable to remove product residues from the packaging and separate the individual parts (glass, plastic) so that the recycling process is as efficient as possible.
