Is this glass bottle also suitable for products with a higher content of active substances or essential oils?

Thanks to the stability of the material, the glass bottle is also suitable for formulations with a higher content of active components or essential oils, because glass is generally chemically resistant to them. Nevertheless, before final filling we recommend always performing your own compatibility test of the specific formula with the packaging, especially at high concentrations of actives or with less common raw materials.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the bottle when reusing it?

The bottle can be reused provided that hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly washed, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcoholic solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts of the bottle and dropper to dry completely in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination of the new contents.

Can the push dropper also be used for thicker or oil-based products?

The push dropper is designed primarily for dosing low- to medium-viscosity liquids. For oil-based or slightly thicker formulations, use is generally trouble-free, but with very thick serums or gels dosing may be less smooth. We therefore recommend testing the behaviour of the specific product in a smaller trial batch and, depending on the result, possibly considering adjusting the viscosity or using a different type of dosing system.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle the glass bottle if I no longer wish to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the recommendations resulting from the material composition given in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can, after thorough emptying and basic cleaning, be sorted into a container designated for glass. The closure with dropper, which contains plastic and metal parts, should be separated and sorted according to the instructions of the local waste management authority, or placed in mixed waste if no other sorting option is available. Always follow the current waste-sorting rules in your municipality or city.
