The glass bottle with spray pump is a reliable packaging material designed for filling liquid cosmetic preparations, cleaning solutions and homemade blends based on water or alcohol. Thanks to the high-quality glass and practical spray mechanism, it enables fine and even misting without the content coming into contact with the external environment, which contributes to the stability and longer shelf life of the product. The transparent glass allows for visual control of the quantity and appearance of the fill, which is appreciated by home formulators as well as professional cosmetics manufacturers.
The glass bottle with spray mechanism is part of a packaging system that is designed on Handymade to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems within a given neck type. The bottles are compatible with different types of closures and dosing (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the chosen parameters. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure of trouble-free use during both short-term and long-term storage.

Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after the inside of the bottle and the spray mechanism have completely dried is the packaging ready for refilling.
First empty the bottle and rinse it with warm water and a mild, well-rinsable cleaning agent. Then rinse it several times with clean water to remove any detergent residues. We recommend rinsing the spray head by pouring clean water into the bottle and actuating the spray several times to discharge the contents. After washing, it is advisable to disinfect the inside of the bottle and the dosing mechanism with alcohol (ALK001 / ALK002) and allow it to dry completely at room temperature away from direct sunlight.
The glass spray bottle is ideal for liquid preparations with low to medium viscosity that need to be finely misted – for example facial and body mists, hydrolats, hair tonics, room and fabric sprays, aromatherapeutic blends or cleaning solutions. For formulations with a higher proportion of oils or for thicker emulsions, it is advisable to test in advance whether the spray pump provides smooth and even dosing without clogging.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle, after being emptied and rinsed, is usually placed in the container intended for glass sorting. The plastic spray pump and any other plastic components must be thrown, after separation from the glass, into the appropriate plastic container, provided that local waste-sorting rules allow this. Before placing the packaging into sorted waste, it is advisable to remove any product residues in order to simplify the recycling process.
