Glass bottle – transparent nasal medicine bottle with spray applicator is a practical and hygienic packaging intended for dispensing liquid preparations into the nose in the form of a fine mist. Thanks to high-quality glass and a precise sprayer, it is suitable for filling solutions, hydrolats and other liquids where controlled and local use is important. The transparent glass packaging allows visual control of the content and the condition of the product throughout the entire period of use.
This type of bottle is ideal for home as well as professional formulations, where a repeatable dose, cleanliness of application and convenient use while travelling are important. The glass medicine bottle with nasal spray is suitable for small product batches, test samples and final products intended for regular application.
This glass bottle with nasal spray is supplied as a functional combination of packaging and dosing mechanism, ready for immediate use with a suitable formulation. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the packaging works optimally with your specific product.

The nasal sprayer is optimized primarily for liquid, low-viscosity solutions based on water or hydrolats. With thicker formulations, atomization may be impaired or the nozzle may clog, therefore we always recommend performing a trial filling and monitoring the behaviour during longer-term use. In the case of very thick or oily blends, it is appropriate to consider another type of dosing.
The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling we recommend rinsing, cleaning and disinfecting the bottle and the mechanism as thoroughly as possible. For the final disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of a quality suitable for cosmetic use, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Leave the disinfecting solution to act for several minutes, then thoroughly empty the packaging and let it dry at room temperature. Only then fill the bottle with a new product.
For the most consistent dosing possible, the correct product formulation (appropriate viscosity and purity of the solution) and even pressing of the mechanism are important. When designing the product, we recommend performing several tests with real use – check the number of doses per one filling, the consistency of the mist and the functionality after longer storage. If you change the formula, always test also the effect of the new composition on the operation of the sprayer and on sealing.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the local waste sorting rules and according to the material composition given in the product parameters on the Handymade website. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in the glass container after removing residues of the content. The plastic spray mechanism (including nozzle and tube) generally belongs in mixed waste or sorted plastic waste according to the instructions of your municipality. Before handing over for recycling, we recommend emptying and rinsing the packaging to minimize product residues.
To choose a suitable packaging, we recommend using the extended filter in the packaging categories. You can select the type and neck diameter, the approximate size of the packaging, the colour and the material, so that you can easily find bottles, medicine bottles, jars or pumps exactly according to the needs of your product. By combining these filters you will significantly speed up the selection and reduce the risk of incompatible combinations.
