Thanks to the durable glass, this bottle is suitable for filling liquid and low-viscosity preparations where chemical inertness of the packaging, minimal interaction with the contents, and good protection during storage and transport are required. The practical screw-on metal cap helps to limit the loss of fragrances and volatile components, thereby contributing to longer-term stability of the formulations.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected product parameters. Depending on the type of neck, it can be combined, for example, with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators, which allow you to adapt the method of application to the specific product.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – check sealing, dosing accuracy and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, essential oils, etc.).

Yes, the glass packaging can be reused provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly mechanically cleaned (removal of residues of the previous product) and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After cleaning and drying, we recommend visually checking the integrity of the glass and the closure and only then refilling the packaging.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or neutral soap and warm water, rinsing thoroughly, allowing it to dry completely, and then disinfecting it with alcohol, for example with IPA 99 or ethanol 96 denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to air out and dry at room temperature. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and residues of cleaning agents.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material designation in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle, after being emptied and basically rinsed, is typically sorted into the container designated for glass. The metal cap should be separated and placed in the metal collection, if the local collection system allows this. When recycling, follow local rules and the information given in the parameter table of the specific product on the Handymade website.

In the advanced filter you can conveniently filter by neck type, size, colour and packaging material, as well as other parameters. In this way you can quickly select the bottles, jars or medicine bottles that best match your product type and the required dosing method.
The glass bottle is particularly suitable for liquid and less viscous formulations such as facial and body oils, serums, fluid emulsions, hydro-alcoholic solutions or aromatic blends intended for external use. Thanks to the stable glass and quality closure, it is also suitable for products containing essential oils or alcohol, which may be more demanding for other materials. For very thick products, consider whether the selected type of closure or dispenser will allow comfortable application.
Always store filled bottles properly closed, in a dry place and at a stable room temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Avoid extreme temperatures and sudden temperature changes, which can negatively affect both the contents and the packaging itself. For products sensitive to light or high temperatures, follow the recommendations given in the formulation and in the product parameters and, if necessary, choose suitable secondary packaging (carton box, protective packaging material for transport, etc.).
